I Find this a good way to change the glass with a diff meatrial with a same temp and you can find which material is the best insulator or conductor of heat -

I cooled down one pixel at the top of the glass by 2 degrees. The water frose. -

ppl touch it with ice or something cold and it will turn into ice almost in 0.5 sec -

In real life, water can be superchilled. Any disturbance will cause it to instantly freeze.
