    TPT is a tool for creating images. a bomb is an image. art is an image. what you really mean when you say "make a bomb" is "make a picture that moves".

    when you set off a bomb, it has no REAL effect. it simply displays an image on your screen. when i post art. it has no REAL effect. simply displays an image on your screen. the difference is. a bomb cannot provoke an emotional response. not properly. it's a flashing light. really good art on the other hand, can stir up love, hate, exitement, fear and spark all kinds of thoughts in the viewer.

    TPT is a cellular automaton displayed on a screen. TPT does not use any sound. a screen is a series of lights that displays images. if i were to draw a bomb, mid explosion, you wouldn't be able to tell it wasn't a bomb until it moved. similarly. if i released a save containing nothing but a circle coloured to look like explosives. you wouldn't know it was just art until you tried to light it.

    to everyone who says TPT is a physics game.. it's FAR from anything of the sorts! most of the elements don't even move when placed NEXT TO A BLACK HOLE. no.. TPT is a cellular automaton. it is a series of "cells" (elements) placed on a grid which; when in close proximity, react with each other in a pre-programmed way.
