    @johnnycash227 First, what does that have to do with anything? Second, wormholes (theoretical but probably) allow for faster than light (FTL) travel. Thirdly, nothing can exceed the speed of light when said light is in a vacuum. Believe it or not, light moves slow(er) through other materials. Maybe not by much, but that does allow for stone to fall faster than photons in this game.

    I apologize. Light exists in tiny packets called photons. It shows properties of both waves and particles. Light is an electromagnetic radiation that is in the form of a wave.

    ok. basically what we've established so far: light=photons, energy=matter, photons have mass and people are stupid. none of us will ever understand all of this subject. no human can.

    @jonnycash227 Dude, seriously. The internet is a commonly accepted research tool. There are, in fact, reliable sites to be found, those which I used! Also, sound is not energy. Not directly. Heat is also just the vibration of atoms and molecules. Transmission of heat (say, from fire to your skin) is usually by infared, which also happens to be photons (just at a different frequency).

    E=mc^2 states that there is a correlation between mass and energy. It does not state that energy is mass. Nothing can BE mass.
