    Another idea on the FTL travel thing is to move space instead of moving yourself. Nobody knows how to do this quite yet, but it is theoretically possible. Make space less dense (?!) in front of yourself and more dense (?!!) behind you so you move space instead. No clue how you would do that, but it's looking like a really good option for FTL travel.

    @tothemeyers you couldnt get the probe through the wormhole! since only energy can go through a stable wormhole, the particles would destabilize and the "other end", which btw, you couldn't tell where, all that would come out is a jumble of particles that don't help anything. Case closed.
