@Megacy, that is what inertial dampeners are for, so the speed doesn't turn into a thin red paste.
also @the_new_powder99999 , in space getting from point a to point b by normal space takes decades, centuries, or millenia, so following a "trajectory" is worthless. best thing to do is use warp drive, which requires you to be pretty close to C, which means bigger engines helps get you to the destination faster, although acceleration would be a problem since if you accelerated to fast the crew would turn into a thin red paste...
The engines help, since the objective is to get close to the speed of light quickly, bigger engines means more acceleration means better achieval of that speed, and keep in mind that the higher the velocity of something the more mass it has, so if the engines have more power, that means that they can get closer to C (the speed of light) that most other things.
I AM GROx I AM GONNA TAKE YOUR WORLD AND SHOOT YOu IN LITTLE PICES >:c
ill add one of my battery button things from my old saves
Actually, a large engine isn't really required if you want to go quickly. All you have to do is detonate the DEUT supply. Since the front portion is completely undamaged, that will surely provide you with alot of speed.
I am like The idea of a Gravity Shield ---------------------------------------10+
You could add a double spark mechanism to make sure the engines start.
