    This is a standard thing, I made a lamp out of this that can trap light but this is common, I made the lamp 900x smaller and I made it like 5 months before... +1 Nether the less...

    It's only bouncing off because the heat transferred from the photons to the glass is enough to melt the glass and have the photons bounce off the molten glass.
