    @MrThunderbolt Wrong actually the largest we'eve ever found is over a Million times larger than the sun,the current largest which defeated VY Canis Majoris' size is ML Cygni.

    @runemaster: No, our sun is way too small to go supernova. Our sun is actually on the smaller side of stars. The largest star that we've found is over 1000 times the size of our sun. Most stars need to be at least twice the size of what our sun is to go supernova.
