    yes it is slow. its not bad with less detail but I am working on it. I need a new way to select the color rods to make it faster. the controller is super fast if I can just speed up color changes

    after the new color rod is injected, a start pulse is sent to the ROM control circuit to restart the printer. I suggest starting with a square and change colors a couple times to make stripes. build up to more complexity. if you print more than one color on a line you just dont index the print head until the last print line.
