The 'ZERO' was the finest work of mitsubishi facillities.It was ordered in 1937 to replace a5m in IJN (Imperial Japanese Navy).It had two 7.7 mm type 97 mg's (copy of vickers KK or stuff like this) and two 20mm cannons.It was serving to the end of war.
