    I made the exact same thing as well a while back, although the PROT was an option, not a default ammunition in my multi-function laser. It's not finished yet though, so that's why it's not visible on my profile. +1 though, this is great!

    sometimes an electron from the hydrogen chamber fires back into the photon clone and deactivates the whole laser.

    I have a multi laser, uses the same idea. id:1412129. I do realize that there's a heating issue. Will work on it.
