Since conquering a sector is not in any way easy, I will let you control the sector if you can overcome this problem.
So, your strategy is to attack weaker targets with swarms of ships, take their resources, and go onto bigger targets? That would mostly work, but there is one civilisation that will turn individual ships against you, these ships will turn more of your own ships against you, until your entire fleet is on the enemy team.
When i get to conquer the sector, my number of ships would increase significantly, allowing me to expand much more
And where do i put these ships? in moons and desertic planets
the_new_powder99999: Well, some of my ships maybe arent that big, but they are produced in insane quantities (500000-750000) , and send into battle with a tactic called "Swarm", wich depends into putting ships in a group of 250000, when it finds a big enemy, the ships ensamblate and make a ball that doesnt let the big ship escape while it is being bombed by bomber ships or kamikaze ships

Showing that the Hattonians can build more than just mining stations and space hotels might be a start, there isn't a way to actually attack, but if I can see that the Hattonians have enough ships to easily take over a sector then it would make sense for you to have the sector.
...Well, so how do i attack? do i just comment "i attacked the other civilisations" or anything? :P
Well *Charges Shotgun* gotta get these civilisations down
Your government would not be invisible, there are civilisations that are more advanced and powerful than yours, and some would not accept being ruled by anyone. The only way to rule the sector is to defeat these civilisations, or only control the parts of the sector that are willing to accept your government's rule.
