  That doesn't sound that abnormal, there are lots of ships moving around like that. Unknown languages aren't too uncommon either.

  a small radar blip appears at the end of an alliance controlled system. the language it is encoded in is unknown, but is definetly a language. A samll contact is moving at sublight speeds towards a planet.
