I think a better solution to using frame might be using a material that conducts heat with a void edge, so it melts all debris nearby and prevents the weapon from being blocked up (the reason that current versions explode) While still keeping a temperature low enough that it won't damage the armour on the ship.

also how big do yo need it. could you possibly give me the ship and then i could fit the cannon in.

that could be a problem as you would need to use frame to hold the sing. you could use snow sing but it is very unstable (it just explodes in the barrel). molten sing is better because it is much more stable but it does less damage. ill have a go with making the gun out of destructible elements.

I've been screwing around with my RC ships, mainly the XI Battleship, and a new prototype I built just to fight it.... I could use a reliable "main gun" (Sing Cannon) that works nicely, and doesn't blow itself up all the time by accident... Anyone think they could help? Needs to be destroyable materials, except for FRAY which seems essential for function.
