  Performance is monitored by the on-board computer and is tallied on the carrier. At the end of a fight, the best fighter pilot for each fighter designation will get a pay bonus. This encourages pilots to preform at their best.

  The on-board computer recognises the pilot and changes its performance depending on the pilots level of skill and their current assignment. The fighter is also linked to other fighters that have been given the same designation (E for Escort, A for Assault and R for Recon/Scouting). Fighters are given easy-to-remember designations so command carriers can easily coordinate the fighters. E.G. A-12 would be an assault fighter that is the twelfth in its squad.

  The main weaponry is two light, photon based lasers that are good versus light-medium plating and is capable at penetrating insulation as some distances. The engines are burst fired to preserve fuel and give tremendous acceleration. The pilots use a combination of large touch screens to control the craft which allows them to give faster responses and voice commands which are specifically tailored to the voice of the pilot.

  Nippy L.T.D's front line starfighter is the Broadsword Class Heavy Fighter. While not being large, or equipped with a large array of weaponry, are incredibly heavy due to the armour which causes them to fall into the heavy fighter weight boundary. The armour is energy weapon specific and focuses on absorbing rather than blocking damage that is recieved. The fighter has two standard lasers that can be used to soften light-medium plating or be used as point defence lasers when escorting.
