  Entropy Unlimited is ruled by a Huge AI core inside the Elcipse-Class. It's primary subset manages all civilian affairs and economic expansion. It's 1000 secondary segments, called System Entities, oversee military action. If an enemy faction poses a significant threat, the primary subset can swich to a combat mode and operate the Eclipse and any local ships.

  This made them stop a huge amount of their research, and attempt to ally with as many people as possible, including the crippled empire. The 2 borglike factions had refused this alliance, and continued fighting against each other and the new Korlonian empire managed to defeat them because they had both been weakened by fighting each other and the old empire the whole time.

  The Korlonians grew in power very quickly, and eventually the current empire (No idea what to call it) noticed. The empire was already at war with 2 invading borglike factions on the other side of the galaxy, so the Korlonians had a chance to attack quickly before they responded, this resulted in a huge war with 3 factions independently attacking the empire. After the empire was mostly destroyed, the Korlonians discovered something very important...

  Korlonians naturally had a goal to discover as much information as possible. after enhancing themselves with computer technology, they went to the best information source that they had: a mining colony on Xaltor. A surprise attack on the moon mostly destroyed the colony, and left the Korlonians with the abilty to travel throughout the galaxy, conquering everything they could find, taking resources and technology...
