I lilke aray lasers because as I said they are compact, can melt through metals quite well, and are very reliable -

they tend to spontaneously combust -
nippy 24th Apr 2015some sort of proton or photon laser would make it better against lighter hulls. i would go with proton lasers but the smaller you make them the less reliable they become.
