    Eventually, it seems to settle around 25-60 C.

    Ran it for a long time. A planet formed and then the north and east poles grew a Uranium-Plutonium volcano. The plutonium decays quickly, such that after several hours when the CO2 planet takes up the entire area, only a single plut particle and 3 stone ones remained.
