This proton gun is fully destructible, AND matches the power of most other commercially availiable proton guns! Caution: prone to spontanious combustion. Not meant for human consumtion.

  This is genius! +1 The solution to stop the random explosions is simple. Just replace the oil for more uranium. The thunder has a chance of igniting the oil at the start. The thunder generates enough heat and pressure to keep the laser hot enough for a long time. You actually don't need the oil ;)

  I love destroyable things (gives some realism to explosives) plus i love machines that still function even if damaged (its what i strive to build)

  Hah, I was wondering if there was a way to convert PHOT into PROT like NEUT. And cool, A lazer that explodes for legitimate reasons upon being damaged. How it should be. Lol. +1

  @iamdarkness: There is a point in making lasers destructable, the entire point is just that, well, when you blow up a spaceship it always pisses me off that theres just ONE LASER that won't blow up. and @Hegemon_1: turn the laser on before you unpause and it shouldn't blow up.
