I also want to credit this save ID:1074789. I believe im the first user to take advantage of its 256bit height. Ark was ahead of his time.
Hey, i did read this text.
@Reshiram Can you please do the world a favour and shut up. Theres barely and text, unless you find simple things hard :)
if you quikly press 1234567890 you will brake the machine.
@Peter You touch on important subjects! delays cant really be done with wifi, but, i might be able to hack a global delay system in so it ignores fast keystrokes.(easier for now to say "wait til it finishes flashing.") i plan to edit the keyboard and make an enter-key. that will be in 2.0 though!
no offence but do you really think that someone will read so much text?
Hello guys, this is Peter Pacz, professional powder toy reviewer. I often review a few front page saves in my spare time, in order to help their authors improve on their masterpiece. Well, to start off, I would like to say that your typographical machine is one of the best so far that I have seen in powder toy. I really appreciate the compact design, which unlike some other larger writers, only use a very small amount of area for it's electronics. Another reason your typographer is one of the better ones is that it uses Cray rather then the normal array that is usually used in the typing machines of the past, which are a bit annoying, since they have to either be refreshed with a array flash, or be changed to another item type in the console. As for typing, the keyboard should have been a bit bigger, because so far the keyboard is bigger than the zoom window in the powder toy, and it makes it a bit difficult to type. Perhaps making it 30 percent bigger would be more of an improvement. Also, I noticed that trying to type another letter when the first one is prossessing tends to lead to a few... rather unexpected results. It jamms up or cuts short the first letter, which is very annoying. You should add a small buffer system to the writer, this way a person using it can keep 1 or 2 letters "in memory" if the first one has not finished typing, or even better, just ignore the extra letter altogether. In version 2.0 you may also want to add a enter key, which could be used to make paragraphs of text easily. Overall, I think this is a very good save, and I definately recommand it to anyone that wants to use it to type. It has a few minor issues, and also some parts that could be improved in, but overall it is one of the best typographical machines I have seen so far. --- PeterPacz1, Professional reviewer of TPT Front Page Saves.
