I found this while messing around with heat transfer turned off. It seems that when it is, BCOL melts upon applying fire.

    Heating the element made stone,cooling it made molten Broken coal

    also, the elements do not cool down on their own and fsps does not catch plama

    If that's the case, explain the fact that BCOL can't actually melt, or that normal coal burns fine.

    you do realise when heat transfer is off, the fire cannot trasnfer to the bcol so the bcol melts instead of catching fire

    Even more weird than D3MONcr4ft: When you turn heat on, the Molten BCOL immediately turns to fire.
