so any collision with a neutron just scatters the neutron, instead of performing fission as in tpt. Version 2.0 is well underway, and is also powered by a deuterium reactor. Additional power sources, a battery, reinforced skin with controlled moisture, these are a few of the new features in V2, which (as opposed to modification of V1) is built from scratch.

So its 2023. College has kept me fairly busy, and while I am learning so many fun things (I am a mechanical engineering student with a concentration in nuclear engineering), every class further enforces that tpt is unrealistic in some respects. In others (fluid dynamics), it is surprisingly accurate. But deuterium is water with 1-2 extra neutrons

As of right now (Nov 2021), there is no plan for updates to the living organism, however 2.0 is still in the works, and will be larger, have more features, and likely remain private until it is in a fairly finished state. As always, suggestions are always appreciated. This save will still have bugfixes and optimizations as they occur to me.

is there a more recent version?

tbf neither did I

I didn't expect a reply lol

To be honest, all that is left is a hazardous waste remover (V2 is hopefully more robust, tho there will be no guarantees), then a material sorter, and getting it all hooked up. After that, interbody temperature control aids and a better form of expelling heat (initially was going to use rfrg, but idk anymore)

Unlike this one where I uploaded it as soon as it was somewhat functional, V2 will come basically completed. I actually have done the power, deut material storage and mixer, inlet and outlet, all with more tech then this lil guy has.

Sad to say I actually lost a good deal of work on V2 due to building modules in empty saves and stamping them, only for my stamp folder to corrupt. That combined with first year of Nuclear concentrated Mech Engineering means I haven't gotten much done. That being said I most certainly have not forgotten about it.
