    @Doritos Taco here is how to get to the Mun with minimal fuel: Step 1: build an asparagus staged rocket that is powerful enough to get you into orbit, then put a small engine connected to a medium sized fuel tank on top of that. Step 2: launch: fly vertically using ASAS until 10,000 m altitude then turn east (d key if you're still aligned) until you have an angle of elevation of 45 degrees. Keep burning until you get your apoapsis above 80,000 m, then cut egines and drift until about 20 seconds before apoapsis, then fire prograde until you're in orbit. Hope this helps you conserve fuel!

    i love KSP but my rockets never have enough fuel to get to the mun, suggestions? i have a better chance of escaping the solar system than landing on the mun
