This is The Sphinx, an anti-fighter ship used by the Alliance, It is used to provide anti-fighter support for larger ships, and can be used as an escort ship. it is 555 metres long.

It is actually meant to be completely automated with no rooms onboard at all, but a ship with random scribbles all over it that are meant to be electronics wouldn't get many views, so I put rooms instead. -

the_new_powder99999 20th Sep 2014A lot of weapons in space would have their own oxygen supply anyway, the main defense of the engines would be shields, point defense and the assumption that anyone who could get through the shields would focus their firepower on the larger ships nearby that are actually a threat.

you cant burn insulation off in space as there is no oxygen to allow it to burn -

It has a HUGE weakness: if you burn off some of the INSL by the engines, when you turn them on, the neutrons will melt the engines and they will explode and destroy the ship -

I just took the time to fill this ship with wooden figures, like I do with my own ships. Had some trouble with the size(My units are five pixels tall, yours seem to be three), but it worked out rather well. -

the_new_powder99999 23rd Aug 2014Shields are almost impossible to make at the moment, gravity shields are the best I can do at the moment. Although there are multible force field ideas on the forums.
