i discovered that using an EMP to disable the weapons also starts fires on the inside. -

suggestion: would switch qrtz/ttan for ceramic, it can be done via console without disrupting the layering -

yeah, the shields would bend the light into a rough blob shape that somewhat resembles the ship and reflect back as the color they shined on as, so assuming you are shining a white light on it, it would just be a bright white blob -

It certainly wouldn't be invisible, it would have to absorb photons for that. It would be very hard to see it clearly or make out details, as though it was armoured in circus mirrors, but you'd be able to see exactly where it was. -
