    This wouldnt be very practical on a spaceship, as soon as the enemy fires a shot, all your exterior systems (eg: weapons) get destroyed.

    I made the snow frozen DMG (only possible with the property edit tool and the console) so that when it melts, it turns into DMG rather than WATR. When the shockwave hits the device, bits of SHLD disappear from the pressure, allowing MERC to melt the snow, causing it to turn into DMG and detonate to make pressure.

    @RustyNinja but does the snow turn into DMG because simething blows it up? i dont get it.
