    Bullitshark: There were flag bearers. I remember reading about them back in school last year and yes, basicly you just stand there and hold a flag while sometimes at the lead of the front line. You might have just as well got a big red 'X' on your head and stomach while screaming "SHOOT ME SHOOT ME!!!! I WANA BE SHOT FIRST!!!"

    sentinal-5: Yes... In some cases, 1 out of 10 Soviet soldiers had a weapon. The others, had to wait untill someone else got shot. That's insane. I saw a documentary about Stalingrad yesterday and they said that if you wanted to drink something, (the snow), it was always mixed with blood.......
