    "Dirty bomb" also means that its primary objective is to spread radioactive material as opposed to actually dealing as much damage by exploding, that is, it is mostly radiological as opposed to explosive.

    @cmcgee1213 a "dirty bomb" generaly refers to a rough homemade nuke. there was worries a while back that the talliban might have one.
