I've been setting FPS to 1000 on this thing and it's been great! it runs a lot faster, upwards of 100FPS now!
-
@xobotun:You... tpt.setfpscap(1000) will surely kill your CPU
-
Wonderful! And it is not slow - with tpt.setfpscap(1000) it completes scanning within 10 minutes on my computer. With total 4096 pixels it works with 409.6 pixels per minute:)
-
Too bad the scanneed image isn't colored, but that's the printer's job.
-
I said it was slow, but i didn't downvote, now why would I, it's AMAZING!
-
TPT has reached a new era! HIGH TECH era!+1 and fav and fuck all the n00bs complaining about the speed

Outstanding electronics! Isn't that slow either: with the fpscap on 1000 fps it scans the image in just under 15 minutes (I get 250fps)

The only way I can think you can make it better is if you were to increase the number of bits to support a 32-bit color scheme... but that would go off the top of the screen. Maybe make it take a vertical image and create the scan along the horizontal axis, where you have more leeway?
