    Although it would do a ton of damage, it would not instantly destroy all of the ship, but really cool save though.

    @Epicduke, yes it would. because the kamakaze's plane would be loaded up with as much bombs it could carry, and then blow up on impact of the carrier, and then set off all of the bombs and fuel on the carrier. So yes, it does make sense.
