    i wish it fused, because deuterium dosen't fission, it fuses under extremley high temp and presure. deuterium + deuterium= helium4 plus a gamma ray

    I think the deut was added because someone wanted a material for testing realistic A-bombs without having to clean up the mess of molten PLUT and URAN, but it should NOT be used to make a "realistic" reactor.
