    it's good, but this should happen in water, not glass. when something propagates faster than the speed of light in a given medium (water is the most common) it creates a kind of shockwave, of which it cannot travel faster than c (light) so it radiates photons, at a visible light frequency. cherenkov light. you tend to see this in spent fuel pools, or research reactors
