    First, I LIKE BACON. Second, FP is based on a code. The code works like Oats said. Although mods can promote a save if they want to. Then the save will be 1# on FP until the mods unpromote it. (Or the week goes up :D)

    The fp system used to be based on votes, but people complained that the only the well known or famous could get fp. Later the system was changed to be based on speed not votes, which means less known people can get front page, if they make an attention grabbing save.

    Well its hard to tell sometimes but thanks, and that makes sense but sadly, a lot of people dont know that. :|

    mods can put stuff on and take it off. but a program dose moste of the work. if a new save is posted and it gets quick votes; it will ggo up on fp. but if its a old save it dosent matter how maney votes it gets. unuley 3 votes up in a short period of time will get a save to fp. or if sumthing falls off fp, it will put a save with less vots to sub the save that fell off. its all in the programing. and >minecraft<.

    I belive that modorators have a part in it but the system (TPT) runs it mostly. BACON IS BEAST!

    And theres always how the algorithim works. I think it works through the speed of votes a saves gets but that wouludn't explain the saves it picks sometimes.

    Yes, thats true but one of the questions is why does the algorithim choose the saves it does sometimes? It chooses the worst possible save and bad saves sometimes. I wanted to know y it does that sometimes also.
