Electronics layer

Now I realise that this was suggested before, and the post is old, so I can't bump it without people yelling 'necro'. So I created a new thread.

The premise is to create a seecondary, background layer in which the rules of physics don't apply, only electricity. This would allow much more processing power in, well, processors. Now, this probably wouldn't cause much lag, for air/heat/velocity are not calculated, only electricity. Using the tech in this save:

it would theoretically be possible to produce a short animation, using the larger screen, you could fit perhaps 15 frames on, max? With a second layer, a lot more could be added.

    So... uh... yeah.

Do we really want that level of complicated electronics in TPT. Sure, it would be usefull and fun for those that understand it, but what about those that don't... It will make it harder for people to learn. I like the idea though.

This would not make electronics tougher, they are already extremely complicated, new elements would make it tougher, but this would not. This would make it easier. You would not need to come up with all sorts of complicated space saving devices.

    This is a FANTASTIC idea.

Elements that would have to be added:

LTRA: Layer Transfer. Acts like WIFI, except it powers between layers.

Maybe with a special mode, you could see the electronics, but faded?

Only problem: There are electronics that use head: Semiconductors. So only heat and electricity, but no wind or movement would be simulated.

i think there should be this, with an added element, LAYR, conducts to and from everything, and is the only conductor to conduct from one layer to the other, also, wifi should only communicate inside its layer, and LTRA should be added as an inter-layer wifi.

Would provide space for more memory +1.
