    I've seen one of these before, I think Simon made it. Not sure if it still exists. Maybe later I can try making a new one.

    I just ran it, it looks really cool. Although lonely at the end ...
    If anyone else wants to try running it, you need to make it faster, because there is 7 years of history in there: gource --auto-skip-seconds .1 -c 4 --seconds-per-day 1

    Here is a screenshot of the final state (where we are today):

    The big blue blob is src/simulation/elements. The thing on the left with many branches are all of the user interfaces. Lua and luasocket are above that. Around the middle is a bunch of miscellaneous stuff. The top right is non-code stuff, like the build system, the font editor, and some icons / images / other data files.

    No idea how to make it a video / gif, there seems to be a way to output to ppm files, which could then be processed through ffmpeg. I will be gone much of today though, about to leave.

    Yep, I could try to post an updated video if someone really wants it, but basically after QuanTech's video ends, it's mostly just me for the next 2 years. Lots of people have been making pull requests recently though, which is nice.
