    Where his powder toy file is, there should be another file called "powder.def". Delete that file and try re-registering.

    Simples fix (I think): Check your e-mail. Did he activate the account?

    100%. Some guy came on the IRC saying he couldn't login yesterday - he just needed to activate his account. Check the junk folder if you can't find the e-mail.
