PCLN Photon iregularities

I was wondering just WHY it is that when you have a pixel of pcln acting as a photon emitter that it sometimes has "bumps" or irregularities in the beam?

Also is there a way to prevent this whether its through something in game or through the console?

I've noticed this too and ran some tests. I think it has something to do with other clone pixels.

The test i ran was simple.
1/Create single pixel PCLN laser emitting photon. The beam was constant with no noise.
2/Switch off the laser and save.
3/Reload the scene, switch on the laser and the beam was still contant with no noise.
4/I then put in a single pixel of clone emitting some CFLM and the beam remains noise free.
5/I turned off the laser and save again.
6/Reload the save then switch on the laser and you get very noisy emission of PHOT from the PCLN.

Seems CLNE messes up PCLN PHOT emission, but only after you reload the save. That's at least one scenario. Why it happens, i dunno but it sure does suck.

Yea, mine has a tendency to get the noise when im creating a laser system and click a pixel for a mirror wrong and the beam ends up reflecting back into the laser system, Or if i add in stamped lasers some of them randomly spawn with noise

also if i have a beam with noise it STILL has noise even if i replace the PCLN

Id really like to know what causes this as it makes me usually have to completely rebuild a portion of a laser system.
