Consequent Rule Enforcement

Ok, I just wanna post this to idk make myself feel better.
One of my saves was unpublished just 5 min after i edited it, for the reason that it contained a "green vote up arrow", and since the last update was after publishing of the rules, and therefore not faling under "grandfather rights", it would be published after i removed the arrow. I was a bit confused and annoyed that it was counted from the last publishing date, and not from the history date the arrow appeared/the save was first published, but i read over the rules again, and indeed this weird handling of grandfather rights is indeed within limits. ok.

The thing is, a save with a much higher profile (meaning, its currently on the front page) features a lot of those elements that shouldnt be allowed, and in quite abundance (2 arrows, and a vote counter thing).
So i ask, eh why? o_O
do you not like me or something? My save was low profile, and had 1 arrow, and just got modified a tiny bit, and got unpublished 5 min later.
Some guy uses 2 arrows, a vote counter and whatnot, and is on the fron page?
hallo? please, i dont mind playing by the rules, but this is just crap. it's your game and all, fine, but dont be control freak meanies alright?
Life is not fair, that doesnt justify being an arsehole is ok (just a general statement here ;)

hmm well thanks for mentioning the arrows on front page, that must have slipped by, i got it off now.
we aren't always on and looking for offending saves, so you just got unlucky and he got it right away.
I'm not sure myself if the grandfather rights should be allowed by saveID, or by date published, because what if we change the way QRTZ colors, JoJoBonds creations would look terrible, shouldn't he be allowed to update? I'm not sure if all mods are on the same idea of using saveID (which i would probably use) or publish date -
Maybe it wasn't right to do that, or maybe just that all the saves aren't ''Cleaned'' yet. I'm sure it will all go ok and fair for everyone in a little while :)

Okay I'd say allow rights to those when published before rules. Since if changes in TPT ruin or change the mechanism, then they should be able to change it to work. Sorry if this caused the kind of trouble.
EDIT: If it is though not good or friendly for the game then it shouldn't. -
haha. yeah i get that. I sure was proud tho my justin bieber made it that far. Ok I just wanna show how that rule kinda didnt make sense. I dont mind taking it off, see, i took it off right away. Its just the rules on that were a bit confusing. It's no big deal, but its good make things better.
