Drag-able screen.

So, I thought of having a drag-able screen.

Many have asked for a bigger window in The Powder Toy, But some of us don't want it; That's where the drag-able screen comes in. So there could be some sort of shortcut tool which turns your mouse into a dragger, And when you drag the background your basically moving your window to the point your dragging your mouse(e.g. when you move your mouse left when dragging, The creation will move left). Once the creation has moved, There'll be more space to work with. And to get the centre of the creation back, You just move the screen back to where it was before.

    Example.
It doesn't look like much here:

    Dragged a little:

    Dragged more:

This could be infinite space only creating the space when you draw there.

    Pros:
    • You can have bigger creations.
    • better creations.
    • More cool things?

    Cons:
    • This will probably still mean that it will be as slow as having a bigger window.

Because this will definitely be slow, this is more of a suggestion for the future when it's faster.

    EDIT:
Oh, And i'm not dead. I've just started school and have too much homework. :P

The only problem is: When a particle hits the border, it is deleted. If we add your idea, a particle spawned never dies, it just falls, until the clear page button is pressed.

How about a toggle like the Heat Mode? Except it's a little four-way arrow.

its the exact same thing as a bigger window, and will make it lag just as much.

The bigger the window gets, the more lag there is. It would lag. A LOT.

Until someone can work out how to speed up powder toy... a lot. This is unlikely to happen.
