Why glass shatters, how to prevent it

    Hello!

I'm trying to make a "factory" that produces glass by keeping the pressure at 0. However, later batches produced still contain pixels of broken glass.

How exactly does glass cool, and what are the exact (numerical) requirements for glass to shatter?

    Save can be found at

    Thanks for the help!

Glass breaks under low pressure, unless if it is tempered glass. Glass also expands when cooling.

For me, it only happens after using the add sand feature.

So all molten liquids produce pressure and I think it is based on the temp. Thus, in the cooling process, that molten glass is still producing an x amount of heat. If you cool the liquid to fast the pressure around the glass pixel breaks it. Suggested fix: cool slower

edit: I think using a smaller chamber might fix it or putting pump inside the molten square. Hope this helps and please correct me if I'm wrong
