Recently Dan-Ball has released Powder game 2, with new Air Physics, Other additions are unknown for now, However this looks interesting. Please post what you know so far.
Well, aside from perfecting wind, present since the first iteration of the game, ha55ii (Dan-Ball's owner) has apparently rewritten the games entire codes, which will, evidently allow for more features (gravity, perhaps?), and new elements previously uncodable in the first game. I am not sure of the accuracy of these statements, but this is what's been going around.
The playing field has also been enlarged to a widescreen-esque form, allowing for larger creations, I suppose.
Also, here is the link to the thread at the Dan-Ball Forum, if you'd like to see their input on the new game.
I honestly doubt that any TPT players would whine about that. Unless that new version is designed to somehow magically disrupts/impairs/hacks TPT-related things, I couldn't care less. Unless it has some system to stop noobs from clogging up their servers with scams or poorly-made uploads, in which case I would probably regain my interest in it.
@tudoreleuu(View Post) @me4502(View Post) Don't bother retaliating, there is no ****ing point, PG exists and continues to exist regardless of your opinions. What I can't figure out is why our tow communities are so hostile towards each other.
Also, I feel hat it is my responsibility to inform you that your comments may violate rule 11:
Ximon:
11) Please don't continuously insult or flame Powder Game anymore. We want others to feel welcomed and comfortable instead of turning them away, and it produces drama that looks bad as a whole.
The person who originally designed Powder Toy to start with was pretty specific about building Powder Toy in the first place because the java for Powder Game wouldn't run in linux at the time.
...So really all the talk about it is sort of pointless, they're two different games that happen to have the same subject matter.
Also, Powder Game has the first result on Google for physics sim, so. :P
