    I don't know how accurate it is to actual proton detection mechanisms, because theyre complicated weird electronics based on things not in this game, but i guess its a sorta ion detector.

    the prot detection mechanism I made is based on detecting continuity across a thin ptnm wire. if any of the wires dont have electrical continuity for a moment, that's a detection.
