    Now I also live in a similar condition, here in Singapore, and the buildings have more in common, but it's not like in Brazil, where the resemblance was huge.

    Man, I love cities like that. I used to live in one like that, with tall buildings near the seashore, mountains behind, and a port to the right. The bridge would be a small common bridge linking the bigger island to a small one, and the pier would be the main bridge, which is very tall.
