This one is about the Nedelin Rocket Explosion, happened on Oct.24th.1960. in the USSR. Safety procedures where ignored as they rushed to launch in time, so that a short circuit was able to blow the rocket up in a fireball.

    @blurcat: Poor Kerbals :-) I always have a 'Fail-Save' system on my spacecraft. The only one that has been killed, was after a rover crash on Mun, I wanted to bring him back to my Mun ground station with the jetpack, and propelled him right into the side of a crater. :-(

    @Kitty: Hey, i have a 'soviet Kerbin', and in about 6-ingame-years only 1 Kerbal has been killed.
