    hmm this looks familiar somehow.. also @Annonimous227 it's a "tank" ship, so let's assume its radiation shielding is shaped to fit over its entire hull, rather than being a single shield at the front. Yes, it's hugely inneficient, but maybe it's not designed to have high deltaV or fuel efficiency, maybe it's designed to go slow but NEVER be shot down.

    Annonimous227: Well, this is TPT- where radiation as we know it doesn't exist. There are no gamma rays to speak of, and the only problem here would be beta particles, although those are blocked by a sheet of metal.
