Maybe we could have simple sound generation when QRTZ is sparked? Low volume and fixed frequency
Quartz in real life is piezoelectric,so maybe?

Anyways SDL sound API kind of sucks, I tried messing around with it and it was pretty crappy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dhK1PLomFs (Earrape warning) so we won't have sounds in TPT anytime soon (unless maybe someone who's really good at synth stuff codes it up for us)
I like the idea , but this is useless in tpt . But if that will be added , i will make player with 29 sounds based on FILT memory , i want to see this in TPT . +1 to original post
edit: If devs will add this , add it like that : one pixel plays only one note , this will be more useful , example: PSTN powered game with jumping/losing sounds (what made from 1 note)
