to add rubber or not?

It would be easier to build small pressure sensitive circuits.

@tavninder, yttrium and everyone else who thinks this should be added.

https://powdertoy.co.uk/Search.html?Search_Query=rubber click/paste this into the address bar and see why people dont want this! 10 pages of Rubber suggestions? HAs it been added? NO.

Exactly as nmd and tommig said Titanium + Insulator = RUBBER.

Gentlemen please.  The minimum number of dots required for a 2 if a coating, 3 if between a wire.  Another reason I want this element to be created is that if it has the properties mentioed here, is a potential situation to create a very easilly broken maximium pressure source.  By doing this and deleting a single part of the rubber, I could make a very efficient flamethrower or device to move powders or gases or liquids.

this is slightly unrelated, but why do people keep mentioning titanium? have i somehow missed its implimentation? *EDIT* sorry i missed its beta adding

You can make pressure sources (>1200 pressure, updates to 256 then back to 1200) with just CLNE(THDR) and VOID. That's it.

    Well the pope says no.

i am trying to say that, two very important elements of this era are rubber and plastic but they are not included in toy powder. i know of many people who use powder toy as a tool to study and simulate natural events. I feel that to be more accurate it would help if we had rubber and plastic. (god made every one different that means not even twins are the same, therefore no two elements can ever be the same, no matter how similar they are.)

Thanks for the feedback yttrium39 & tommig , because you understand what i am getting at.

    1.

The 2 elements that have been rejected multiple times?

    2.

how can you simulate natural events in TPT?!? most reactions/events are made up, or not realistic... (that was just a question, I just use the game for fun :P)

    3.Remember: Fun > Realism

    4.

    tavninder:

(god made every one different that means not even twins are the same, therefore no two elements can ever be the same, no matter how similar they are.)

I am an active Christan, but I know that if you copy the exact same code for an element and paste it in another spot in the SC, your going to have the same exact element :/

    5.

And finally, we all understand what you want, (you made it bold at the end of your first post...) but it's just not going to be implemented unless you code it yourself and/or give rubber properties that are new (that are within reason ;) ) but the stuff your listing right now is redundant:

    -absorb pressure-
    Titanium

    -nonconduction of electricity-

    insulator

    -resistance to moisture-

    both Titanium and insulator

    -insulator-

    insulator

    -impermeable to gases-

    both Titanium and Insulator

-Flammable (ONLY IF 320°C is exceeded)-

    Insulator

it will take four pixels to do what you want...

    to sum up:

    Sorry, but no

I'm sorry, but two exactly similar lines of code will work exactly the same way, that's one of the foundations of computer programming.
    What if
    if(x == y)
    worked as
    while(x == y)
on a different machine? That'll wreak havoc on everything!
