This shows a good reason why we got lucky and evolved on a planet with and atmosphere. This simulation is not very accurate and does not consider sun rays actually hitting the surface of the lower planet. It does get the point across so don't complain.

you can try using ambient heat for the whole "heat radiating away" but i feel like that'll actually end up melting everything with so many aray beams

BTW the sun is not incorrect is the sense that it functions that way that I think it should. I actually made this save to make a cool efect with bray and ended up using it as a demonstration.

IRL the Earth's heat radiates away into space. Powder Toy does not work like that, so I used liquid nitrogen to simulate that effect.

fill the atmosphere with CO2 and notice the warming effect

except that planets are not cooled with liquid nitrogen

Yes the earth has been going through cycles, but our greenhouse emmisions combined with the natural cycle will kill us all.

Im just reading the comments and I have no idea why people are talking about climate change, the Russians, and Hitler

@ReCAPTCHASucks if you look, it's actually the anti-climate change people who commented here first. Besides, comparing "basically all scientists agree humans are in trouble" to "our high priest/psychic predicted the universe itself will end" is a very flawed argument
