    that's right. the side facing the star (daylight) is always the hottest. i could be wrong if there are exceptions.

    Unicellular: This line is constantly "moving" because of the rotation of the planet. It is a transition point from the very hot territory of the planet to the less hot territory. The night side of the planet is constantly cooling, the day all the time heats up. The line is a transitional route between day and night on this planet, in theory.(sry for english, if you see grammar mistake :P)
