A nuclear reaction byproduct that heats up quickly under pressure.

Creation

Excluding obvious ways, such as by brush or CLNE.png, URAN.png can be created in a variety of ways:

  • By PLUT.png fission;
  • By PROT.png collisions at high velocity;
  • By molten ROCK.png, with 1/312500 frequency, while under 100+ pressure and at least 4726.85C.

Heating

How hot URAN.png will be the next frame is calculated by the formula T+p(T/2000), where p is the pressure and T is the current temperature. However, there are a few nitpicks:

  • When the pressure is negative, URAN.png does not cool down;
  • URAN.png with the temperature of absolute zero, if heat simulation is enabled and the pressure is positive, will heat up to -273.14°C the next frame.

Because of it's heating properties, URAN.png is used a lot in nuclear reactors all across the game. URAN.png+BOYL.png combo is used widely because hot BOYL.png makes a lot of pressure and pressurised URAN.png makes a lot of heat, which results in a positive feedback loop.
