Candunc Why thank you, I didn't really consider it that good(I'm not a very skilled electrical engineer). Maybe we could gather a group and begin drawing up an alpha for a standard port. I personally feel it should meet the following criteria: -All sparks will be released at once, no gaps in timing(maybe have them go into loops, and then be released by a release signal which opens a switch) -Must be scalable, as in one port could have 4 connections and another could have 6 and they would still be able to connect and communicate without all connections meeting. -Must be as compact as possible, we can't have huge ports, that would nullify our standard. -Must have a simple, yet effective protocol and which allows for easy conversion to other standards and must be able to easily integrate into most creations. I might create a very simple, non-compact example demonstrating some of my ideas.
cr15py I liked your creation, because it didn't just open the gates, it kind of had a timer to when it opened. I think I'll help create an alpha port-type, I'll start that now.
Note Cr15py with the alpha port, The Port is not going to be for everything, the standardised port will be for everything that does something similar. eg PCI-e for Graphics cards will be the standard port and we will have to come up with a PCI-e. Similar with SATA ect... This can also be done for Smelter Controls ect...
I will choose the people by next week, and will officially launch PTT with the completion of my secret creation. It is already complete but have delayed its release to make some improvements.
